A multi-modal architecture for non-intrusive analysis of performance in the workplace

چکیده
Human performance, in all its di erent dimensions, is a very complex and interesting topic. In this paper we focus on performance in the workplace which, asides from complex is often controversial. While organizations and generally competitive working conditions push workers into increasing performance demands, this does not necessarily correlates positively to productivity. Moreover, existing performance monitoring approaches (electronic or not) are often dreaded by workers since they either threat their privacy or are based on productivity measures, with speci c side e ects. We present a new approach for the problem of performance monitoring that is not based on productivity measures but on the workers' movements while sitting and on the performance of their interaction with the machine. We show that these features correlate with mental fatigue and provide a distributed architecture for the non-intrusive and transparent collection of this data. The easiness in deploying this architecture, its non-intrusive nature, the potential advantages for better human resources management and the fact that it is not based on productivity measures will, in our belief, increase the willingness of both organizations and workers to implement this kind of performance management initiatives.

Capacitated Single Allocation P-Hub Covering Problem in Multi-modal Network Using Tabu Search
The goals of hub location problems are finding the location of hub facilities and determining the allocation of non-hub nodes to these located hubs. In this work, we discuss the multi-modal single allocation capacitated p-hub covering problem over fully interconnected hub networks. Therefore, we provide a formulation to this end. The purpose of our model is to find the location of hubs and the ...
متن کاملExperimental and finite-element free vibration analysis and artificial neural network based on multi-crack diagnosis of non-uniform cross-section beam
Crack identification is a very important issue in mechanical systems, because it is a damage that if develops may cause catastrophic failure. In the first part of this research, modal analysis of a multi-cracked variable cross-section beam is done using finite element method. Then, the obtained results are validated usingthe results of experimental modal analysis tests. In the next part, a nove...
متن کاملPERFORMANCE-BASED MULTI-OBJECTIVE OPTIMUM DESIGN FOR STEEL STRUCTURES WITH INTELLIGENCE ALGORITHMS
A multi-objective heuristic particle swarm optimiser (MOHPSO) based on Pareto multi-objective theory is proposed to solve multi-objective optimality problems. The optimality objectives are the roof displacement and structure weight. Two types of structure are analysed in this paper, a truss structure and a framework structure. Performance-based seismic analysis, such as classical and modal push...

Introduction: The purpose of multimodal and co-registration In MR Neuroimaging is to fuse two or more sets images (T1, T2, fMRI, DTI, pMRI, …) for combining the different information into a composite correlated data set in order to visualization, re-alignment and generating transform to functional Matrix. Multimodal registration and motion correction in spinal cord MR Neuroimag...
متن کاملA Multi-layer Architecture Based on MCDM Methods to Select the Best E-Readiness Assessment Model According to SWOT Analysis
E-readiness is one of the major prerequisites for effective implementation of e-government. For the correct implementation of e-government, it is needed to accurately assess the state of e-readiness in desired community. In this regard, there are models to assess, but the correct choice of model is one of the most important challenges in this area. The process of evaluating and selecting the ap...
